I've been smoking for about 8 years now and I do not think it's cool. I think it's the only thing that keeps me from going completely insane.

its the 21'st century, i dont think people think its "cool" anymore...i think they just do it cause they give in to peer preasure....their friends are doing it so why not them.....also to them smoking feels great when they first do it, it seems to lift all their pain and problems and make them go away, what they dont realize is that it causes more problems.....i think the new generation is making better choices because of all the non smoking public areas and all the stuff their parents and teachers tell them.....soon people will eventually stop smoking over time...

I don't know if they really think it's cool to smoke, but some women actually smoke hoping they will lose weight!

Haha. But, it is cool to smoke. I mean, think about it - it gives you something to do with your hands and it does look pretty damn cool. I'm not saying there aren't health risks, but it still looks cool; and no I'm not a smoker =P

No, it's not cool to smoke. Is it cool to waste money on things that can lead to lung cancer? Is it cool to pollute the environment? Is it cool to smell bad? None of these things are cool, thus soming is not cool.

People smoke to relax and unwind. I love all these kids preaching against smoking. Live in the real world for a while, then talk to me about vices.

because of all the music videos with people walking drinking beer and smoking stuff all the time so people think it is cool do to what they do

I think it depends on where you live. I live in the northeast and not many people smoke around here. But down south, everyone smokes.

its not cool, i wished i had of had the media on smoking as you have today. when i was 18. i wouldnt be walking around with one lung. august the 11th it will be 5 yrs cancer free. please if you don't smoke. dont start. if you do smoke quit.
