UGH!
I can't answer that, but I can commiserate! Don't know where you live, but it seems that it's just unbearably hot all over! (Even in places where heat is the 'norm'!)
I'm in WI---the heat is bad, but the humidity is freakin' horrible!! It has to be pretty bad for my 9-yr. old son to NOT want to go outside & play! LOL!!!
Hope you're getting plenty of fluids...
:-)

I think we're experiencing a climate change. I don't know where you're from, but where I'm from, the climate has definitely gotten warmer. In my town in Michigan, it wasn't unusual to have winters with 2 feet of snow on the ground all winter. This past winter, it only snowed 3 times, and the snow only stayed on the ground once. Plus, during the summer, weather above 90 degrees was really, really rare, and this summer there have been whole weeks of weather around 95-97. Now I live in Colorado, and it's changing here too. It's way hotter most of the time, and it rains a lot more often than it used to. For the past six years it's been dry and brown, and this year it's green and humid most of the time. So, I don't think it'll be cooling off anytime soon.

Yes dear, just be patient and give it another month and then you can enjoy the cooler temps. For some reason, high pressure domes are very slow to move this time of year so that when they finally do we get a little relief. But after awhile, you will start to notice that the high pressure will not stay in control as long as it was and the cool fronts will be more frequent.

August is a hot month even if we aren't in the middle of a heat wave
stay indoors or in the pool, its the only thing you can do
if you must spend long periods of time outdoors drink plenty of water and get a cold wet towel to hang around the back of your neck!

Sorry but by all indications, scientific, prophetic and non-sensical it is only going to get hotter.
One cannot say when it will end until it starts to burn. Then of course, science can calculate the amount of fuel and give you a firm figure on the burn time. Thank goodness for technology.

Darnit, you heat haters jinx us all, and when winter comes, it gets freakin too cold. I'd take this (95 degrees, humid, feels like 110) 368 days a year!
