I was dumb and used nylon for my costume (I'm Low Income Man) so not only do I sweat but I smell horrible after a day of battling crime in the unemployment lines . . . damn cutters!

Yes, but you get used to it. Sometimes you do not even wear the clothes underneathe the costume, and you find a way to make the clothes and the costume go hand in hand so that you can still keep your secret identity while still being a person.

Yes, because as Captain Retro, I wear a leather aviator's helmet(with goggles), a bomber jacket, riding breeches, and riding boots. The gunbelt containing my twin Smith and Wesson 45's can be rather heavy. Also, both my 1930 Packard automobile and my 1931 Lockheed Vega aeroplane have no air conditioning. Got to go- important assignment coming in on the wireless...

It's even worse for me 'Gentle-Man' - I have to wear an expensive 3 piece suit as my costume and that hidden beneath an over sized winter jacket. OUCH! The chaffing

no. but i suggest a thin fabric if you are planning on wearing it under all your clothing. butttt, seeing as my secret identity is a stripper, i usually just wear my costume and pretend i'm dressing up as a superhero. it's quite geinus, if you ask me...
