You could get a vertical blind track. A lot of them have clips to hold the individual slats. Mount the track on the wall or window (minus slats) and use the clips to attach the pennants. I know they make something similar to this for displaying photos, but I can't remember what it is called. You might check some of the local furniture or framing stores for them. They would be more expensive though.

Cheap Pennants

Sew the pennants onto a piece of fabric. If you don't sew there a variety of fabric glues on the market. Arrange them to your liking. At the top of the fabric fold a hanging sleeve similar to the top of a curtain and sew. Use a dowel or a cafe curtain rod in the sleeve. Now you only have to use two nails or tacks to hang on the wall (you could even use a pair of fancy brackets). Now you have a wonderful banner without damaging your wall.. If you use felt instead of fabric you do not even need to finish the side seams.

Hi Bob. The best thing I've found is that double sided foam tape that some people use to hang small pictures, etc. You can cut it to any length or size. Also, there are pre-cut self adhesive little mounting squares made of this material...they are easy to work with, neat, and won't damage the wall. Plus, you can't see the mounting material from the front, and they won't damage the pennant. Any hardware store, etc. should carry this stuff...even Walmart should have it.

Hope this info helped.

PS...self-stick Velcro tape will work also.

I would use thumb tacks. Adhesives will stick to the wall but not the pennant or remove paint when you try to remove it from the wall or not come off the wall at all. Thumb tacks will leave 3 small holes that are easily filled or painted over.

Use 3m contact strips.basicly doulble sided tape but when you want to remove them from the wall you pull on the bottom of the strip and it comes off and leaves the paint on the walls
