You can't hide your ip, it's a fundamental part of the way TCP/IP communications work. Hiding your ip is like trying to make a call without wanting to telephone exchange know your phone number.

You need to ask how to 'mask' your ip. To do that you can can go through a proxy, but the bottom line is that someone other than you will also know your IP.

There's just no way to work around that.

That's like saying could you hide your mailbox. Sure you could hide your mailbox but then you wouldn't get any mail.

The way the internet works is by sending messages from one IP address to another IP address. The result of hiding your IP address would be that you were no longer on the internet.

So the easy way to hide your IP address is just disconnect!

Proxy Sites work well... just go to vtunnel dot com and voila. I used it to look at webcomics at school, worked well for bypassing blockers and hiding IP.

I'm not sure you can hide your i.p... No-one can see your i.p anyways unless you tell someone, or if you sign a site such as piczo... It's a good idea not to give i.p adress out as it can cause alot of trouble and people can get into your computer. But i don't think you can hide it as it's a computer source...

not to my knowledge, i have looked everywhere for that same thing, it is mandated by federal law that all computers be traceable you can buy rotors to route your ip to various "dumby" IPs but they are always traceable sooner or later.

"Anonymizer" - works a treat!! Professiona, but eats system resources.

or "Ghostsurf 2005" - uses less resources than above.

Both are fully LEGITIMATE and NOT infested with spyware.
