Give it a few days and try it again. I dropped one of mine in a mud puddle and bought a new one the next day. A few days later the old phone was working again.

A friend of mine drowned one of her phones too. After it dried out, it worked fine. It just took a couple of days.

don't connect charger it will short circuit the battery and cause the phone to explode, it might need to be replaced

Hair dryer might dry it out, but it is most likely dead

you might as well get a new one....unless you had insurance on your phone then you'd just take it to the store where you bought it and they can send it in.
