First off, if you want to insult a person or a group of people; then you need to at least write in their language correctly. I will give it to you that the world is big, but doesn't the news where you live first focus on your enviroment first. Isn't that the main purpose of the media? To keep you informed of the things that are taking place around you? Second of all, we are the only government capable of interfering with other people's affairs. I take your attention to the war in Lebanon. Everybody is screaming like chickens with their heads cut off for a immediate cease fire. Everybody wants us to go in and interfere with Israel's affairs. They want us to tell them to back off. To this day I still haven't heard Pres. Bush tell Israel to stop. Also, when we do get involved we do 2 things: A. we kick our enemies butt, and (B). We go in to do the right thing. In WWII we got involved and we kicked Mussolini, Hitler, and the Emperor of Japan's butts. We fought on 3 different continents. What did Europe want, Peace. The majority of Europeans who are Socialists, are complete wimps and have no backbone. If weren't for us, then the movie V for Vendetta would be true

You, my friend, are an idiot. You have no idea what you're talking about. I, and everyone I know, read a variety of newspapers (including those of other countries and varying opinion), take in different media, talk and debate, are involved in our communities, are highly educated (more than you based on your grammar and spelling) professionals who take pride in knowing what is going on around the world. Have hearts the size of Texas and give very very generously to worthy causes across the globe.
Can you give me the basis of your opinion?

Really. What news do you watch. I bet this ignorant American knows a lot more about current events in the world than you do. Name your country and I can tell you whats going on. But of course you like to stereotype everyone. Well I will just say that if the press in your own country chooses to focus on American events then your country probably deserves to be forgotten. Thanks for once again showing the ignorance of Anti-American people.

Illiterate is one who does not speak or write well. I happened to notice you do not write well yourself. The 90 % you made an attempt to write about is called local and national news. If we went into all the problems internationally, the news program would go on for hours. Your certainly not including yourself in being highly educated, your a moron.
I think of my reply as an astrophysicist trying to talk to an infant. Your what I would refer to as a chump. You talk out of your anus.

I think that the US citizenry is probably as well informed as the citizenry of any other place: certainly there is enough media coverage of events, by radio, television, newspapers, magazines, etc. Nevertheless, one might wish that people pay more attention to the media than they do.

That's not a question, bub. Then again, maybe that's the standard way of asking questions throughout the rest of the world, and I just don't know it.
