watch comedy movies, go out with crazy friends and have fun. No matter what has happened in your life friends are always there to cheer you up. If not remember: "God loves you and every time you fall he feels sorry for it but it's the only way you'll learn from your mistakes." Praying is also a good way to cheer up yourself. just tell God how you feel he'll understand and will give you peace. Don't worry there is always a solution.

Do something practical. Set yourself a small goal even if it's just tidying the room or paying off a bill, or doing something that you've been putting off for ages. This will make you feel empowered. Then and only then reward yourself with the other suggestions.

Being out with your friends and family. Taking time for yourself, going to see a play, reading a book watching your favorite show stuff like that. Or if it is something that you can put some closure to then do that. Just be really careful depending on situation.

Do something for somebody else and see the gratitude in their eyes! That will also stop you feeling so self obsessed. Two for the price of one.
