When looking at the current events of the day, I see people bloviating about the coming rapture, the end of times, World War III and all sorts of signs concerning the activities involving the Middle East. But I'm wondering this, who's in the right? Is Israel right for "protecting themselves" by killing hundreds of Lebonese civilians in an attempt to go after Hezballah? Is Hezballah in the right for sending rockets into Israel, killing civilians under the guise of retaliation? Who should step up to put an end to this violence? When we think about other areas, did America fall short, do wrong, or go overboard with this, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, etc? What about the countries that supported the attacks from 9/11, like Saudi Arabia and Syria (which are the countries from which most of the terrorists, including Osama, were from)? I haven't formed my opinion concerning this yet and would like some help.

All human beings have a God given gift of knowing right from wrong. Even a toddler with no knowledge or instruction in right or wrong will try to hide it when getting into something he naturally knows he shouldn't. I personally see no right in any country that claims to be of God yet constantly makes war. That should answer your question as to who's right in all that. No one! In war, there are no winners & there is no right.

When it comes to the situation in Lebanon, Israel was not justified in starting this offensive, in my opinion. The kidnapping of 2 soldiers is not grounds for an all out offensive on the country. Especially when there have been countless other things the Hezbollah has done that Israel did not strike back for previously. While understand the building of a situation, it was not severe enough to warrant the destruction of a country.

When it comes to Iraq, America was justified in going into combat. No matter what people say (war for oil, or 9/11, etc) they are just ignorant. The war began because this dictator was subject to UN sanctions for years, and nothing helped. He killed thousands of his own countrymen in a genocide. He was a present day Hitler and he needed to be stopped. Prior to the current administration, who I do not totally support either, no one had the balls to step up and do something. There was evidence on WMD's, evidence of genocide, murder, torture. So to say we weren't justified to enter Iraw, to me, is akin to saying we should not have gotten involved in World War II and stopping the Holocaust. We learned then to never let things progress to that extent ever again. And that is what we were preventing in our actions.

in the end none of this will matter. All that matters is where you stand in your life rightnow. Where do you stand with God? We should treat everyday as our last day and just be ready if God calls on our soul today or years from now. You have to be the best person you can be and treat all people with God's love. Then whenever your day comes you are ready.

War is stupid alltogether. No offence, but I don't really care about who was in the right and who was in the wrong. We shouldn't be over there fighting and the people over there shoudn't be fighting.
