I'd rather have the diamond solitaire necklace because
"Diamonds are forever"
and tvs are only like $200 or so bucks for a good sized one and I never notice that much of a difference in the picture quality anyway! Plus I have no time to watch tv

Let me guess, you saw this on the headlines on the home page? I would rather have a plasma TV because: 1) I don't really care for jewelry 2) I watch a lot of movies and a plasma would be awesome for that 3) I could enjoy a plasma everyday whereas I could only enjoy the necklace on special occasions and 4) my whole family would enjoy the tv; only I would truly enjoy the necklace

Diamond Solitaire Necklace, I think it would be better than a Plasma TV & plus I love Jewerly.

a plasma tv because at least it can entertain me when I'm alone and bored.
You can't laugh at a necklace and a necklace cannot entertain you. It is so superficial to want a diamond necklace, which is only there for appearances, rather than something useful

I hate jewelry. I would much rather have the Plasma TV. The only piece of jewelry that I haven't lost is my wedding ring and that's because I never take it off.

Definitely the diamond necklace. I'm not terribly into jewelry, but it seems the wiser investment. A tv loses value while diamonds gain value.
