I use mozilla firefox . Do you have to still update IE when you use mozilla firefox?

the is no connection between using FF and having the last version from IE.
BUT it is recommanded to have the last version from IE although you do not use it because of having up-to-date software is a good matter.

As long as you are using Firefox as your browser, there is no reason to update IE.

If you are comfortable with firefox, then you dont have to update the IE.

Just watch for any updates coming for Firefox

i use all of three best ones.... Firefox with lots of Extensions, IE 7.0,Opera 9. IE is Good but still some bugs,Opera is highly luxirious, Firefox is better..... Speed is it's speciality

Yes. In order to do the windows updates you will still need to use ie.
