My dear chap, please don't get your knickers in a twist; but I'm afraid you've got your wires crossed. Yahoo is an American company (don't you know). So actually you're the interloper. But no bother -- hands across the ocean, and all that rot.
To give you a slightly different answer, though. While Yahoo maintains seperate Home Pages for many nations, it is far too expensive to maintain all features in the same way. Consequently, all Yahoo chat features (like Yahoo Questions) are grouped by language. Everyone around the world logging on to an English language Yahoo Home Page will all be sent to the same Questions page. Got it?

I intentionally clicked on the UK flag at the bottom of my Answers page because I already have an understanding of what Americans think about issues, it's on our news all the time. Besides, I enjoy the sarcastic humor of the Brits. Most Americans are too uptight and take too much personally. Cheers.
Ok, I started out doing some research for a book that I'm writing and never left. I like it better here. Besides, I'm only 3rd generation born in the US. My family hails from Northumberland.

I don't know, but I stay clear of the all english section, I used to go there for more questions but realised that the UK tends to be a little more sensible.
You are in the UK and Ireland questions only?

We are? Well, maybe that is because we are doing our best to teach all of you in the UK how to speak English. Uh oh, ......you spoke English first.......right? In that case, man you sure did a lousy job of teaching us how to speak.

The sights sometimes overlap. Even though you click on the english sight doesn't mean that is all that there is there.
