Well it depends on how bad the storm is. I assume the next day or what ever other times the same plane is flying out.

Have Fun!

I'm flying in to FtL on Sunday. Not too worried, I think the storm won't arrive here until Monday.
At worst, it would just cause a delay. At any rate, you can always call your airline. Do you live in S. Fla? If so, it's no biggie because you have a place to stay. If you're visiting, you might want to make a hotel reservation for Sunday night, and cancel it if weather looks ok to fly.
Last year, my husband flew out of FtL when Wilma was coming through. It was pitch black out, and I felt like I was the only car on I95. I couldn't believe they let the flight out, but they did. It's $$ for the airlines, so you know they're going to keep flights going until told they can't.

As soon as it is safe to fly . I live in SW Fl and the last storm held up flights up to 36 hours later.
