Of course everyone knows that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it seems as if you are looking for an answer based on research and numbers. So here you go:

(You can look at this from a scientific perspective, or simply use common sense. Both will probably lead you to the same answers.)

Research shows that men are generally attracted to:
1) A youthful, healthy appearance
2) Proportionate/Symmetrical facial features and body type (a woman doesn't have to be slim, as long as her measurements are proportionate--not triangle or pear shaped)
3) An optimistic personality.

According to polls, some specific traits that most (and I'm saying MOST, not all) men find attractive are (in no order)
1) long, shiny, straight hair
2) a curvy body--not too skinny--with most of the curves being in the breast and hip area (an hourglass figure)
3) Plump lips
4) Long legs
5) Attractive, symmetrical face (with a focus on large eyes)

The fact that men are attracted to these types of features makes sense from a evolutionary psychology perspective, since they are markers for good health and make a woman appear more fertile.

One last thing: In many polls conducted, blonde hair comes in at number 1, brunette 2 and red hair 3.

What makes a girl attractive is high self esteem and comfort with who she is. In general, although not every guys opinion, tamed curves are whats in.chest that is a B cup or up, slim waist, and hips that are wider than the chest and waist. too much muscle mass doesn't appeal to most males. eyes, lips, and hair are also a must for sex appeal. this is evident when thinking how some foreign women have to cover their hair...which of course if they didnt it would be major sex appeal. An exotic look is also very attractive because guys are girls like to see something they aren't used to. But beyond looks there better be an interesting personality and a big heart because even tho guys like to lust at appealing girls they are aware that looks doesnt equal a long time relationship. Guys want a girl who is their friend, teacher, lover, and someone who makes them wanna commit forever

I think it depends on the person looking--but it better be a whole package deal if you're trying to go for the long term relationship. Looks--regardless of how hard you try to maintain them--don't last. They change so much. Physical attraction is important, but it shifts over time. Personality has to be livable and lovable to be lasting and physical attraction will follow emotional attraction many times.

honestly the personality and emotion its th biggest factor . for example when i talk to a girl but she acts very weirdlly and with no intention to be with me then i have no choice but to leave her. if she does the same but looks at me like a Little girl then i have trouble leaving her. infact its the emotions that make a girl . the wayshe talks and reacts has alot to do and thats what atracts me. physical nada alll girls have more or less same physique.

every body type can be beautiful as long as its fit. like for example a pear shaped body is beatiful as long as its fit. an apple shaped body or hourglass body is beatifull...AS LONG AS ITS FIT. lol. and also a pretty atractive smile will always do the trick♥
