Lust is intense and powerful, and it comes on all of a sudden. It often feels just like love at first, but then it fades as quickly as it came. Lust is just the overpowering urge to be with someone, as close as humanly possible. It doesn't have to be physical sexual lust (though that is the most common kind); it can also be emotional lust, as in the powerful craving to feel like someone loves you or the immediate need to feel closeness and intimacy.
Love is more subtle. Love can be obvious and can be felt at first when you meet someone, but it isn't quite as urgent and demanding a feeling. When you're in love, you don't feel any desperation and burning desire to be with someone NOW. When you love someone, you are always together in your hearts, and the love is usually enough to keep you content. However, when you do get to see them, you are that much happier. Love also doesn't come on powerfully all of a sudden; it takes time to build up. And once you love someone, the love never goes away.
Bottom line. Lust comes first.

Most of the time lust comes first. Once you get to know a person more then love comes in.

I feel that lust comes first, because you don't start loving something, till you've had a craving or intense longing for it first.

deppen how you see the things from. If you just like him/her by physically....it's a lust. But if you like his/her personality...it's a love.

Hm mm, as human beings I believe that we are initially attracted to a person's physical make-up. Having said that, one of my favorite relationships began as a really nice friendship, which eventually evolved into a romantic relationship. My ex-boyfriend was not drop dead gorgeous but had the heart of the size of Texas. I fell in love with ALL of him.
There goes my initial theory, huh? :)

depends. most of the time, lust... but sometimes you just spontaneously become attracted to your friends via a deep empathic connection.
