Surface = 2 * Length * Width

Volume = Length * Width * Height
Surface Area = figure area of each side and add them together

square:
volume=s^3 or lwh
surface area= 6s2

rectangle:
volume=lwh
surface area= 2lw+2lh+2hw or ph+2B

where l=length
w=width
h=height
s=any side of a cube
p=perimeter
B=base area

i did it quite is class like some weeks in the past :D (radius is a million/2 the diameter) the outdoors section is... 4 x pi x radius squared (the little 2 above the selection) the quantity is... 4/3 x pi x radius cubed (little 3 like the two) i desire this helped if u desire greater help in simple terms say so

square box is called cube
surface area of cube= 6a^2 (where a is side of cube)
volume of cube= a^3
rectangle box is called cuboid
area of cuboid= 2(l*b+b*h+h*l)
volume of cuboid=L*b*h
