I like the name Carly. I like its spelling much better than Carlie, which you have in a different question.

I like it! But it's appeal might depend on how it goes with a surname...
. I am not too crazy about -y with -y, especially if both names are two syllables...e.g. Carly Foley
Carly Simon works well though, as might, say Carly Giovanni, though not as good because of that -y/-y sound thing...

I think the name Carly is bland. How about something like Miley Olivia or Gabriella Paige for a girl? Or Ethan Alexander or Ryan Anthony for a boy?
