I'm an American and I decide whether or not I like someone on an individual basis. If you're an obnoxious person, regardless of nationality, I'm not going to like you. If you're entertaining and stimulating then I will enjoy your company. I think you'll find most Americans are this way.
If you were inquiring as to whether or not we like you as a political or cultural entity then the answer is a simple yes. You're like a strange old uncle to the US, and we're always intrigued by your eccentricities.

After we got over that whole, "To us Brits, you Americans will be our second class citizens, and pay our king a larger share of taxes, while not allowing you rights.", thing from the 1700's, well, we just been pretty good buds since. After all, you did finally see things our way. ;)
But seriously, whats not to love.

I think it's the accent.
To us, it gives you an unassuming and light hearted presentation.

I only know 2 Brits... one is a very nice lady in my Church... the other is a Knight in the Brit Navy with whom I worked.... both are OK in my book.

I have no problem with brits. I don't really know any but if I did, I see no reason why I couldn't be friends with them. Brits do have cool accents.

We like your accents but our press is always making fun of you (i.e. bad teeth). Like how we just assume that everyone who lives there has met the Queen and such. Some of us love you, some don't really care, but there's not really anyone who hates you. If you ever read or hear about the American press saying something about you, more than likely it's just for laughs.

I belive so, i mean why wouldnt we. Thats stupid, people dont like another races just because they are different. people need to grow up. I love all races black, hispanic brit or not your still human and should be treated like a human.

I always did; I've been an Anglophile since Diana married Charles. I have many British friends and I've been there loads of times.
To top it off, I married a Yorkshireman!
