Yes, it will. To copy cd's to an Ipod first you have to open Windows media player. There is an option on the menu that says "burn". Click on it and then introduce the cd in the computer and select the items you want to burn. Then click on "start burn". Once the items are burned to your Library, click on the menu option "Sync", connect your Ipod to the computer, click on "start sync", and PRESTO!

No it will not. iTunes and iPod's will not work with Windows 98SE. It even states on Apple's website and iPod boxes that they will only work with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
With iTunes, it's call Importing. Install iTunes, insert disc. Edit> Preferences, Advanced (tab), Importing (tab). Under Import Using: MP3 Encoder, then for Setting, choose 96 or 128kbps. Check any of the three boxes below to your wishes, click OK. Find and click (once) the album title on the left. Near the top right corner of iTunes, click the Import CD once. ...If this doesn't help, use Help menu in iTunes.
