Okay all you baby boomers (and oldsters) - let's reminisce :)
hide and seek, kick the can, jacks, jumping rope, climbing trees, hoola hoops, bicycling, diving into piles of autumn leaves, making igloos in the snow, playing marbles, swimming in unpolluted lakes and this one is cool - I remember a man driving a wagon being pulled by a horse - he delivered ice to homes and would break off chips of ice for my friends and me - fun times :)

I remember the ice box on the front porch for the milk man to deliver our milk and thinking it was wonderful when there was chocolate in there. I also remember the "egg lady". We would go to her house or she would come to ours to deliver our eggs!! I remember laying in the grass watching the clouds and deciding what they looked like. Jumping into puddles after a rain. Sitting in a tree to read a book:) My friends and I used to have tournaments with Jax. We also used to build forts out of sticks. Tag football in the yard and softball were great when we had enough people. We used to be shooed outside to play. Catching lightening bugs and then letting them all go at once. Playing in the woods. Catching odd creatures in the streams....oh my, you have really taken me back. Thank you:)

Oh ....and go into a corner general store with a dime and pick out penny candy under the glass. OR take the bus downtown for a dime, go into Woolworths and get your picture taken, 4 shots, for a quarter in a machine.
