You should goto your local library and take out a book about how to meditate. Be serious about this now, you must take some time out of your day to practice on mediating. I mediate every day and I am so much more aware of my surroundings including relationships, strangers, work area, school. It just improved everything in my life, and best of all improved my mind and released my stress.

Goto the Buddhism section in the library you will find the perfect meditation book in that section.

Good Luck!

Learning to read body language could help. I don't believe that you can't learn to be more intuitive.

The most important thing is that you use it for the right reasons. Some people want to learn how to be more intuitive just so that they can seduce someone. This is possible but highly immoral. Look at Derren Brown he uses his intuitive skills to manipulate people to do what he wants. He uses neuro linguistic programming NLP (and other techniques). This is about observing peoples eye movements and body language (and lots of really complicated stuff!)

I have been told that I am intuitive at times, but I have no way of knowing how or why I am. I do not consider peoples body language and I don't like making eye contact so I definitely don't watch their eye movements. hmm.... Thinking about it I listen and think quickly. When the person says something I find important and I relay this to them (This is a technique used by therapists) Or by thinking quickly and thinking back to previous experiences you can sometimes take a stab in the dark and say something about how you would feel in the situation. I'd be careful though as I have encountered people that just go around not actually listening just saying oh you must have felt like this, so I'll treat you this way.

When the phone rings use your intuition to work out who it is. When you're out walking "guess" what the next person you see will look like. Relax your mind and intuit things about strangers (but you won't be able to test out your thoughts). Write down your dreams and work out how they relate to subsequent events. These are some of the things you read in "how to develop a sixth sense" articles.

Intuition is basically your gut feeling. You have to make a choice and intuition is that feeling you've made the right choice. Test yourself now by choosing the best answer. Look at all of them and the best one will be crying out to you!

It will be an awakening; the more you try the better it gets.

Yes it can be developed like anything else. You have to want to understand it. Get Gavin DeBeckers book "The gift of fear". This book covers the very thing you are speaking of.

And by the way: 60 % of communication is body language, 30% is tone and 10% are words used.

I believe intuition is a gift although it can be acquired and developed. I suppose there are a multitude of methods one can use to refine the process although I'll admit I wouldn't know what they are. What I do know is that if you make the commitment to become accomplished at anything, it is possible.

yes try it with your friends, when someone is speaking to you
listen to them aswell as hear what they say, the way they say it is sometomes the message they wish to give you, buy a book on body language and watch and learn or read and learn, you can tell so much from peoples behaviour. and it might sound silly but really listening to your heart instead of your head can sometimes help with decisions listening to your head no doubt is important as you'll do what you feel you should do but listening to your heart allows you to feel what you might in fact WANT to do you get me?

You know you can. mothers are said to have the best intuition in the sense that you describe because they learn to "read" the feelings of their babies/ children.
