I've heard of special iPod car products, or things called modulators(?), or something. What's the best and cheapest?

The best and cheapest way is using a tape adapter that looks like a cassette tape that plugs into the ipod's headphone jack. Sound quality is the best and it's cheap! (<$10) The only downside is you need to have a tape deck and you've got a wire hanging around.

Next best thing is an FM transmitter. More expensive ($40-$50), and sound quality is potentially not as good, some will use up more battery power too. But, you just need an FM radio and there's no annoying wires.

Depending on your car or radio model, you might also be able to get a direct connection kit - but that might cost more than the shuffle itself!

The most inexpensive way is to get a tape adapter (if you have a tapeplayer in your car). If you don't - you can get an fm transmitter, which is a bit more expensive and from what I've heard if you live in a city type area you may get a ton of interference.

If you have an Aux input on you stereo, buy an audio cable that will connect the player to the stereo. (The cable looks like you can plug it into an earphone jack on both sides)
