Why do i get better at games such as pool and darts when i have had a few pints?

A recent study was done on this subject it seems you relax more and try less after a few drinks which means you fire away with more ease and less strain, but as you drink more you get worse again!

Because your confidence is boosted by alchohol. It's fine whilst playing pub games, but the danger is when someone thinks they can drive a car better after a few pints.....Fatal!

because you relax and are less bothered about people looking at you so you concentrate on the game. plus you maybe get more competitive. I'm way better at pool when there's no one looking... honest.
