I had the baby a month ago, but he hasn't said anything for a while. I think he's afraid of rejection. We have been living together for a little over a year.

Now that you had had your baby Karis, just tell him why you did not want to marry him while you are pregnant: because you did not want him to think that you wish to trap him with your pregnancy and now that you had put to bed that you are now saying yes to his proposal of marriage.
let him be the one to tell you that, it dose not stand anymore, but i think if he loves you and your baby, he will be happy to make it a real family for both of you.
Please, be a good mother and wife to them and say hello to your baby for me.

That he did not run away in panic is a good sign.
If you have gotten weird since the baby that may be putting him off
Ask him what he is thinking

Why does he have to ask? You put him off once and he is still there, so get of the computer and go ask him.
