Yes, the price of gasoline has hit me in the pocket book. I have a nice new car..not SUV, but car and due to the price of gasoline I am driving our little escort that is 13 years old because it gets better gas mileage.
I want an electric car so I can thumb my noses and the oil companies for ripping us off.

Hell no i have been driving more and not by choice. Hope it goes up to $10....$20 or even $50/gallon because then I will be probably one of the few driving out on the roads.....my life and most everything I pay for is a tax write off including this answer

Not really but I don't drive that much in the first place. The farthest I drive is five miles from home to go grocery shopping every two weeks. Other than that, everything else including my husband's job, my job, and my daughter's daycare is within a three mile radius. I'm pretty lucky with that. If I didn't live in Florida, I'd walk instead, but the summer hummidity puts that out of the question. Here's to hoping gas goes down SOMEday! :)

Nope, just spending more on gas, I remember when I first got mu car I was 18 then now 23 it cost about 10-15 bucks to fill up my tank now it's 25-30. I live in southern CA and this morning I paid 3.25/per gallon! Thank goodness I drive a Honda civic and not a truck.

I wish I could say I was driving less, but the sad truth is that life goes on - no matter how much gas costs per gallon! I still have to get back & forth to work, to the store, etc. The one concession I've had to make is that I shop for the cheapest gas prices before I fill up.

Actually, yes, but by not that much. I try to get everything done early in the morning so that I can still feel whatever cool breeze I can get during these hot months and try not to use the a.c.
But it is still hard. You still need to fill up your tank before you kow it. And the cheapest gas here in Northern Jersey is $2.89!

I'm reducing a little; I'm trying to plan my errands so I can get everything done in one trip instead of many. But the bulk of my mileage is for driving to & from work. I wish I could do public transportation, but it is not at all convenient.
