Ok, I know many people like some things more then a plasma tv, and they can get those things if they sell the diamond necklace.
After reading what you guys said it makes me really wonder now....Are they that stupid?

If we sold the necklace, to get the TV, that still means we'd want the TV more (we would just have more of them... I'm not sure what I'd do with that many TVs.)
Personally, I'd probably buy a car, or put it into savings. Not sure which.
By the way, $14k for a diamond solitaire necklace? You must be looking at a really nice necklace, I found some for several hundred dollars

Women lie, men also lie. We're both human! If you asked a man if he would rather have a Diamond necklace or a plasma TV, he would most likely pick the TV. A diamond necklace doesn't appeal to everyone!!

You never get laid, do you? Most people would choose the TV because it's a "this or that" type question! No one is really thinking ahead like "hmm...well I could sell the necklace...". They are being pratical. Who wouldn't want a Plasma TV. A diamond necklace you might wear occasionally or a nice TV that you'll enjoy every day.
