they could handle it- kids don't get enough credit, they're usually smarter than adults. elementary school is the perfect time to introduce Leary's research to a child (while their minds are still open, and they haven't been brainwashed by the conventions or our retarded culture)

who knows, maybe even have a field "trip" at the end of the unit...

what would be the best way to pitch this to the district?

Considering Leary died in 1996, I don't think you'll get this one passed by your board. Did you mean adding his TEACHINGS to the curriculum?

If this were a real question, it would involve me coming down enough to answer it, so why bother?
Love the fringe, by the way.

I'm not laughing.

With any luck, and for the sake of students, I hope that you're not a teacher. A teacher would never even joke about something so puerile as this.

How would you "run it by..."? I suggest, from behind a Kevlar shield.

you might have to put acid in their water bottles prior to the meeting, because no one in their right mind is going to approve that. ESPECIALLY the field "trip" part which would constitute endangerment to a minor as well as illegal drug charges. And it's a monsterous thought, besides.

That's not even remotely humorous. If you think you are a wit, you are half right.
