A common problem for people your age. It's caused by low blood pressure. It will eventually go away. In the meantime, try sitting for a few minutes before you stand, and be sure to drink plenty of water (2 quarts a day).

I had the same problem when I was your age. Try not to stand up too quickly.

You might have some problem with your blood pressure being low, or you might be dehydrating: It is very hot in many parts of the United States, after all. Try drinking more water.

Are you female and menstruating? if so and are using tampons, be careful. Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) cause such symptoms as the ones you are describing- I know.

After I had my son, the doctor forgot to tell me that he had placed gauze "up there" to help absorb the bleeding.

Well, I walked around for twelve days not knowing until I went to the hospital suffering from severe dizzy spells- not good when you are carrying your baby around.

OR- it may be the start of low blood pressure.

Go see your doctor- they'll know best.

Does this happen alot or for long times? It might just be that your dehyrated from the heat and stuff, I pass out alot from that, but it might be something more serious, I would drink lots of water, try to stay cool, rest alot, and not do too much excercise. If its persists see a doctor.

You probably just have low blood pressure - it happens to kids your age a lot when their bodies grow but the hearts don't keep up as well.

Next time you need to stand up, stand up more slowly and maybe tap your feet a little bit beforehand.

Could be low blood pressure. Or maybe (just maybe) you are getting your period, another reason for low blood pressure. Talk to you parents and see if you can go see a doctor. It's probably nothing major, but better to be safe and find out for sure! :)

Most probably it is postural hypo tension. Please consult you doctor, he will measure your Blood pressure in siting as well in lying positions. &will then decide the diagnosis as well treatment.
