i went there in 2003. it was the best Vacation i ever had. i'm going back again next week. just wanted to know if any of you have gone there before. if so how was your stay? how was it to not to have to pay tax when buying things there?

Where are you going?
I've stayed in St. Thomas, but my favorite place is St. John.
Once I get on the ferry from St. Thomas to St. John and looking at that pure turquoise water I'm already starting to relax.
I learned to scuba dive there, so it will always have a special place in my heart. Renting a jeep and stopping along the way to jump into the water at a white coral beach...nothing better. Wish I were there right now!

I had a rough time because I came from 30 F weather right into the hot and got dizzy.

best place is Jost Van Dyke! You need a boat to get there and go to littleharbor and see Sydney at Sydney's Peace and Love restaraunt. great par-tay!
