It might sound like a stupid question, but i watched on a sex ed program that said the way a man has sex his penis acts like a suction. So going back to caveman days, when a man has sex with you, it is supposed to pull out any other mans sperm so he instead, gets the female pregnant.(True i believe)
Does this mean that if you have sex 2 nights in a row, the sperm from the previous day is pulled away from your cervix?

If your partner has a normal sperm count, you increase your chances of conception having sex every day. You do want to decrease frequency to every other day if his sperm count is low, however, because that gives his body more time to produce sperm.

I can hardly believe that 24 hours after sex his sperm are still sitting there by your cervix waiting to be pulled away by the next intercourse. I think that's more than enought time for them to be on their merry way.

Having sex every day does decrease the chances
of conception. The sperm production is limited
when constant intercourse happens.Roughly
every 3 days is rule of thumb for intercourse
when attempting to become pregnant.
Sperm travel after having intercourse
and some does come out afterward.
Far as it being pulled away from the
cervix,I have never heard of that before.
Also,with the "caveman"theory.I don't
believe that is true at all.Sperm travel
and do their purpose.

Ok, I don't know about the penis pulling semen away but upon ejaculation hundreds of sperm quickly make their way through the cervix and into the uterus. There would be no way to suck them out because they would be too far into your uterus and tubes.

One day is plenty of time for the swimmers to reach their destination.

Chances Vs. Odds

Chances of conception depends on how many times you have sex. The more times, the higher your chances.

Odds of conception depends on many fertility variables, probably the least of which is whether or not you had sex with her yesterday.

Actually, if you are trying to conceive, it would depend on if your dh has a normal sperm count. If his count is low, the recomendation is every other day.

Nope the more you do it the more likely you'll hit the time you are most fertile ( get a fertility temp chart/kit at pharmacy to help with timing if you want to)
