Hello Kate!
Georgia is a small state bordering: East is Armenia, West is The Black Sea, South is Turkey.
Even the Argonautes visited the place, more than 3,500 years ago to get the Golden Fleece, kept by the local king who was brother of Pasiphae the Empress of Crete (wife of Minos)

Situated at the strategically important crossroads where Europe meets Asia, Georgia has a unique and ancient cultural heritage, famous traditions of hospitality and cuisine and an alphabet which is entirely its own. It also has a history of winemaking said to date back thousands of years.
Is this your Georgia?
