it just with so many diferent countrys using this site it sometimes makes it difficult at answer a question not knowing where thay are from. this isnt meant to be racist or anything like that but there are different laws with different countrys i hope no one takes this wrong just sometimes it would seem a bit simpler

It often isn't a relevant issue but, you're right, sometimes it can lead to misunderstandings.

If I think it matters, I look up the profile and previous questions of the asker for clues to their nationality and I've gone so far as to put a few words about it on my own profile page. Maybe you should do likewaise.

I like the notion of broadening the questions to include different countries. But there are times when I could probably give a better answer if I knew which country the asker was from.

I'm an American living in Wales. There are probably lots of people who know a lot about several countries. So I am not sure if it would be a help or a hindrance to say which country you speak from or for.

It really would help as I never know if I need to put GP or doctor, shopping centre or shopping mall, law differences, NHS - the list is endless.

This is a great site to answer questions from all over the world, but if you knew where the asker was from, you could ensure that the answer you give is relevant.

It's a good point you've made there.

I agree. There should be a place beside your name with your country beside it. It would make things alot easier when answering questions. Some of the questions could have completely different answers and meanings in different countries.

Yes, I agree with you, because there are some questions which need different answers, depending in which country you live!

Im from the UK too! Wales in fact.

-no , i agree with you. laws vary so much it's hard.

although sometimes it's irrelevant like : can i feed carrot to my rabbit on a Tuesday when it's a full moon and my hair's just been washed. fairly universal answer :)

so people should put it if it's relevant to the question.

Good idea - it would be very interesting. I love the international flavour of this site - it's like meeting people from all over the world! Good communication = good relationships!
