I am 37 weeks pregnant, and when I pee it comes out a little at a time unlike before it kind of rushed out. This just started a few days ago... Why?

This is likely due to increased pressure on the bladder and urethra from baby's presenting part. If you are unable to fully empty your bladder, and feel as if you still have to go afterwards, it is wise to be examined by your OB. You could have an infection, or not being able to fully empty your bladder could lead to one.

because your baby's head may have dropped down, which can cause your bladder to get squished and smaller. i remember it sucked never being able to completely empty my bladder.

be careful now - keep drinking a lot of water, maybe add some cranberry pills (not a lot) or diluted juice to keep your urine acidic. the last thing you want right now is a urinary tract infection.

as long as it doesn't hurt when you pee, it's probably the baby dropping.

if it does start to hurt, call your doctor right away. UTIs SUCK.

If there is no pain during urination, then I'd guess that the baby is probably laying against the urethera and causing some blockage in flow. Don't worry about it, just mention it to your doctor.

It sounds like you are getting a urinary tract infection. Also, are you sure it's pee and not amniotic fluid. Put in a call to your ob's office for advice.
