i know so few women that have any interest or knowledge in engineering or construction of anything. would any of these things exist if there were no men on the planet? would they be living in huts?

Generalizations are dangerous. There are women in the sciences, including the building sciences. My guess is that buildings would be different.

Modularity and multiple use buildings would be more common. Large numbers of huge phallic symbol skyscrapers would probably wouldn't exist, but women are certainly smart in alternate ways that would more than adequately provide usable and beautiful shelter for business, government and people.

True, few women have an interest in those subjects, but if we really wanted to build and make all those things or if there was a necessity for us to... we could!!! A counter question is: If there were no women, would there be circular saws, elevated railways, engine mufflers, fire escapes, life rafts, locomotive chimneys, medical syringes, street cleaning machines, submarine lamps and telescopes, or windshield wipers? All were ingenious inventions by women. Women and men are both co-dependent. Oh!! another great question... If there were no women would there be any men (you were born from a women you know!!!)?

If we couldn't find a way to build these, we'd find a real good substitute. We do have brains. While science has already proven that men's and women's brains are wired for different subjects (men are more adept at math, women have more intuition), women aren't stupid. We can be quite creative and while we might arrive at an answer through a different route than a man, we'd still get to the right answer.

no they wouldn't, the human brain can be defined as having a sex either male or female, some men have female brains and some women have male brains, the male brain is better at systematising and the female brain is better at empathising and there are lots of other differences too, so if all the males were to suddenly die off the women with male brains would just take over the male side of things

yes these things would exist. I know many women who are stong in mathmatics and engineering. Not only would they exist they would probably be better. Women tend to take less shortcuts.

If there were no men on the planet there may not be all the techological thing, or there may be, but there would also be NO wars, No wrestling, No rude behavior. (or at least not as much)

every society will adjust to the matrix of its needs/ aside from the obvious one of non reproduction and extinction, if it were exclusively female they would still devise and design items for their own consumption ie; housing, food, leisure etc. altho it would no doubt have a feminine flair

of course. necessity demands invention. So it doesn't really matter who came up with the solution.
