RStrange and rare US coins and currency?

Does any one know of strange US coins like the 1964-D PEace Dollar and the 1974 aluminum cent ?

The 1964 peace dollar was Johnson's stupid idea. The minted a few for display, but were supposedly all melted down. Same thing with the aluminum cent, but I don't think that idea was as stupid. I beileve a few aluminum cents survived, though, but they would be illegal to won them as the mint never issued them.
