MY VIEW?
I don't SEE any WEEDS here I am INSIDE!
It should only be used MEDICINALLY by prescription with LOCI CAL and DOCUMENTED proof that there is a MEDICAL NEED.
Other than that it is a narcotic just like most PAIN KILLERS of high strength.
It does make people intelligently- challenged and from what I have seen here the world does not need all people smoking it all the time!
Do not tell me it does not make YOU forget things, or be late, I bet you cannot keep on track with converstaions...if you smoke it a lot.
I have BEEN around a lot of DEAD HEADS and they do not call them that for nothing!

I've smoked weed since 1970, within reason, daily and have no problem with it or without it. I smoke because I can afford it and enjoy the buzz. I am married with 3 children and have had a 30 year professional career. I wake up each day ready for another, no hangover, no liver damage. My doctor says I am in great health and I would tell anyone who MUST try either alcohol or drugs to smoke weed over alcohol. My smoking hasn't lead to heavier drugs and I pass through check-stops all the time. I grow my own so as not to support organized crime and feel that what I do in my own home is my own business and no one else's. I pay taxes , vote and have so memory loss(that I'm aware of) lol. People die from taking prescription drugs all the time. Time to de-criminalize it , tax
it and add the revenues to the health care system overburdened by alcohol related illnesses. Got any chips?

Weed is less harmful a drug than cigarrettes but the Tobacco industry "pays" or should I say "Lobbys" our government to not allow the less harmful drug on the market cause god forbid someone would rather by weed over a cancer stick..
Weed doesnt give you anything but a high...
Cigarettes give you cancer..
Science proves this time and time again but eh.. money makes the world go around.. meanwhile execs have all these people going to jail for their cigarettes to be sold!
Learn from Al Capone. Had you just legalized it, you wouldnt have created one of the most notorious crime lords ever.
The US won't get it until some Al Capone like figure is splattering agent's guts against walls because they want to mess with his million dollar business.

I think Weed should be legal before alchohol should. I mean, how many times do you watch the news and hear about a family killed on the highway due to a collision caused by a driver under the influence of marijuana. The only reason weed is not leagal, in my opinion, is that the government can't profit from it because they can't stop us from getting it illegally now, how will they stop it if and when it is legal????

okay...hopefully our IP addresses aren't being traced and i go to jail for saying this...
but, i like weed. as for opening your senses??? HA HA! weed makes you slow and pretty dumb. just like alcohol. i think it should be treated as such. Do i hunt it down so i can enjoy it? no. why? because it's illegal and i could go to jail. now as soon as it becomes legal, i will install a smoking room in my home right along with a full bar.
Weed would have so many benefits if it did become legal. We could tax it, businesses could start manufactoring it. (seriously, who wouldn't want to work in a pot plant?) we would have more jobs available. afford more cops to catch all the idiots that drive while high. put drug pushers out of business unless they have a license. the drug lords would go out of business (by the way i think they are the ones that don't want it to be legal because they would lose their high paying business)
i may not exercise my right ot vote for a president, but i sure as hell will vote for weed to be legal.

Ok ALL you losers out there check out the facts:
The brain
Research findings for long-term marijuana abuse indicate some changes in the brain similar to those seen after long-term abuse of other major drugs.
The heart
One study has indicated that a user's risk of heart attack more than quadruples in the first hour after smoking marijuana. The researchers suggest that such an effect might occur from marijuana's effects on blood pressure and heart rate and reduced oxygen-carrying capacity of blood.
The lungs
A study of 450 individuals found that people who smoke marijuana frequently but do not smoke tobacco have more health problems and miss more days of work than nonsmokers. Many of the extra sick days among the marijuana smokers in the study were for respiratory illnesses.
On pregnancy
Research has shown that some babies born to women who abused marijuana during their pregnancies display altered responses to visual stimuli, increased tremulousness, and a high-pitched cry, which may indicate neurological problems in development. During the preschool years, marijuana-exposed children have been observed to perform tasks involving sustained attention and memory more poorly than nonexposed children do. In the school years, these children are more likely to exhibit deficits in problem-solving skills, memory, and the ability to remain attentive.
So just go ahead and keep on toking losers!!

Drugs and alcohol are not good, but it is a fact of life they exists and the government is unable to stop there use. So the solution is to legalize all drugs under government control. 75% of all crime is related to drugs whether it’s the selling or the junky stealing to get a fix, or the prostitute selling herself to get a fix, plus health risk of AIDs are contacted through the use of shared needles. All of this puts a tremendous burden on our police and healthcare officials not to mention the tax payer who has pay for all this war on drugs and medical care (usually junkies don’t have health care).

i agree. weed calms you down and makes you feel better if your in any kind of physical pain. it should be legalized. this way the jails wont be as crowded and the people that deserve to go to jail will.
