Generally I don't dislike an entire group of people but there have been a couple of Brits on here lately really taking shots at Americans, had to take them to task for that. And I know a few Brits and they are very nice, so it's the same everywhere, some good, some bad and most neutral.

The British have a wonderful since of humor, I think half of them are nuts, never forget the British pilots coming back from missions in the first gulf war. There planes were all shot up and looked like they could barely fly. All they were concerned about was getting a cup of tea. I have alot of respect for the British people and love there culture....

I dislike their feeling of superiority to the rest of Europe and the racism that comes with it.Oh, and the total inability to learn a foreign language is quite annoying at times. Some of them have got good hearts though especially in the North.

Hey thanx to most of you anyway's....you know a lot of people in Europe hate the British...but just like the American's where do they go when they need to run?....
Seriously there's good and bad in everyone...i have a lot of American friends who are cool....met a few that aren't on here but, it's the same everywhere!

Nope. I think they are extremely witty, very outspoken, open-minded and mostly original. I have met some who seemed snobbish at first, but it's just a different culture-they don't lay their entire sob story out at your feet during the first 5 minutes of your meeting so might make you feel like you're being snubbed-American people tend to blab about personal stuff far too quickly to get people to open up and you get used to that when you meet new people.

I am an american and i actually love british people and their accents. I also am a pilot, and my flight instructor was in the British Royal airforce, and i thought that he was the greatest man alive!

well i dont like what the british did to the irish for hundreds of years! i dont really have a problem with british people in modern society though-they're just like everyone else!

actually, I dislike people in general - too many are rude, mean, arrogant, selfish. For every 1 nice person there are 10 ignorant ones.
