I don't know that I'd call them celebrities, but two of the most fascinating people I've read about:

Moe Berg: He was a practicing lawyer, a spy for the OSS during World War II, and catcher for the Boston Red Sox.

Buck Compton: (another catcher) He was the catcher on the UCLA baseball team, given a commission in the army when the US entered World War II, was a member of the 101st Airborne (Screamin' Eagles) and was dropped into France the night BEFORE D-Day. He was one of the "Battered Bastards of Bastogne" during the Battle of the Bulge, the 101st's finest hour.

After the war, he got through law school, became a Los Angeles prosecutor, and prosecuted the case against Sirhan Sirhan, the guy that killed Bobby Kennedy.

Truly amazing lives, both.

How about Ral Donner? He had several big hit records in 1960 & 1961,he claims he never made a dime from his hits,he says on his website his record label "Gone Records" kept all the profits. He was a great singer, sounded a lot like Elvis.

Tyler Perry, cuz he grown up in an abusive home, created plays that he at first wasn't well paid for, (as a result he slept in his car for a while) but now he's doing great and he's making great movies for black people, (well I shouldn't say that, they're for everybody!) in there and, and he's terrific. I love him in Madea's Family Reunion. Most of his plays/movies involve love, abuse, and forgiveness. He would be perfect for a life story.

Elizabeth Taylor? Marilyn Monroe? Edgar Allen Poe. JFK Jr. Maybe even Princess Diana? Oh I think Henry III would be cool, he had like tons of wives and killed them all.

Johnny Knoxville. It would be cool to see where and how he got started doing films like that. The older films, the ones with shopping carts and hotel rooms.

Phylis Hyman. She was a singer from Philadelphia. She killed herself, and if you listen to any of her music you can tell it was coming. I'd like to see a movie, so I can see what led a talent woman to do such a thing.
