I think we as a nation should leave Cuba make the first move toward better relations with the the U. S. A.if they want to have any at all so be it if not that's OK to,we do not need Cuba's trouble we have enought of our own.

We should open up Cuba as a trading partner. This will help their economy, and they will like the United States. After doing this, we will take no other course of action. The reason Mexico is in a mess is because the United States tried to step in and help in the revolution. We should let the Cuban people decide on a government for themselves.
And it could be another 20 years before Castro dies as far as we know.

Send public regrets to the people of the country, to Raol, whoever is ruling. Say it's too bad the countries, US and Cuba didn't settle differences earlier. Send private diplomatic feelers to Cuban rulers.
Open trade, borders would benefit everyone.

i think as long as they are posing no clear and present danger then why bother with them ... but a little birdy in the air told me the US might see this as an opportunity for regime change and i even heard of an idea floating around about invasion ... the US attitude these days seems to be to take out any govt or group that is actively against the US.

I dont see why we do not let that die anyway. I think the people there have suffered long enough and Castro beat us. he lasted depsite our attempts to oust him. Cuba is a beautiful country and why not start from scratch there with relations and the US.

Send the refugees back. They never had any right to be here. Their success was from what Americans built for their own sons to build on. We've got to quit caring about foreign countries and only care about our own people, who are being cheated out of their heritage by both the Right and the Left.
