it is a good question that you'll receive a lot of different answers for it but hey get an answer from An Arab man: the conflict in the ME is not between Jews and Arabs as there are some Jews living every where and even among our countries mine is Yemen who never approve or agree on what is done by their brothers in Israel. because what is done there is against humanity killing people destroying their houses and farms can never be justified. unfortunately Jews who have strong lobbies in leading countries like USA and others are picturing Israel as the ally in the ME and the rest as enemies those guys are putting the whole world from one war to another and never encourage dialog between cultures. unfortunately those guys are present all along the history. believe me when there is a will for justice there Will be peace but when no will it drums of war will still be knocked upon!

No ! It is between terrorist and the world. The terrorist want to kill everyone because they just can't fit in to Muslim or any other society. The Arab nations are mostly uneducated like us and don't want to be the targets of terrorist. That is why they are not against the Hezbollah in the current conflict. All terrorist are alike and need to be exterminated like vermin, but we must all do our part. Our government should be establishing neighborhood watches to check for terrorist and setting slower speed limits to conserve fuel. Iran has a stated objective to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and we will be next.

you are closer to the truth then most .IT is ideaology after all that seperates these people and a way of living for thousands of years .
EACH time a profit came along it was at a time when people needed a direction to take in rather uncertain times .THESE paths lead in many directions over the years but one thing is true .
JEWS AND ARABS can not get aaalong and arab and arab have enough trouble without the jews around .
THIS IS ALL about religion and not a bit to do with money power or land it is the religion that tells them about the land that is there's .THE PROPHETS tell what land is who's and this is not simply oil and money .HOW much money does a dead terrorist have . this is religion gone wild .
SOME how we need to all accept religion is not from god but man made to define his existance in the face of the reality of death .
IF man could learn to accept death as final and be suprized if the creator of the univers did give a rats butt about man then so be it .BUT do not fill the heads of millions of people with this quaint notion of ghosts GODS AND DEVILS .HEAVEN AND HELL good and bad .
We must all work together if the world is going to be a better place and i do not care my enemy needs food and water and if i have it to give i am sure in a short time he will be at peace with me .

the Mideast is simply a theatre for the long and well planned orchestrated decimation of any ideology that is seemingly opposed to westernisation and capitalism. the Jews of course are the champions and progenitors of the aforementioned. the Arabs on the other hand are the easily available weak specimen for these crude experimentation. anybody that is opposed to these ideologies is regarded as an enemy that must be destroyed and since majority of Arabs by faith (Islam) are opposed to these ideologies, they are easily regarded as enemies. otherwise the middle east crises is a global conflict and has been taken to every body's doorsteps

The way I see it, its a clash between all 3. The US feels obligated to be the world police, while Jews and Arabs have always hated each other (or so it seems). It just depends on who blows who up first at this point.

No, the cause of war in the middle-east is the fact that most of the governments in that region are contolled/influenced by various religious sects.

take for example the brewing civil war in Iraq between Shittes and Sunnis, both are muslim faiths but have disagreements on their religion, and when the two religious sects have weapons/government war is inevitable.

As long as the religions are involved with their governments, there will be war in the middle east.

Jews are members of a religious group. Arabs are residents of a geopolitical region. So, No to the first part of your question. And the second part of your question is based on some incorrect assumptions. It is not about religion. It is not about geography. It's about power. Follow the money, follow the oil.

You have figured it out. It is a clash between terrorist Islamic sects and the democracies of the world. Israel is doing what the US should be doing: destroying the terrorists' headquarters and training grounds.
