Monty Python's Big Red Book was their first book - the above mentioned double-sided book , 'Monty Python's The Life of Brian / Montypythonscrapbook' was their 4th.

Ha ha ha!!
This little blue book was called, "The Big Red Book!"

See:http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/customer-reviews/0413774201/ref=dp_nav_1/026-2401918-2331611?ie=UTF8&n=266239&s=books

"Includes a manifesto for the Silly Party, a demonstration of the Anglo-French sheep, the lumberjack song and many more beautifully illustrated pages from the surreal world of Python; the first time a red book made you smile."

There was a book, which was double sided, i.e. you turned it over and this contained some of the script of the life of brian!

Used to have a copy but cannot recall the title!
