Sure, but only one!! On November 28, 1964, I went on a blind date, my first one ever. On August 28, 1965, nine months later to the day, I married my wife of 40+ years. Best thing that ever happened to me.

Chow!!

My cousin set me up on a blind date. Geoffrey was his name.

I'll tell you one thing, this guy is probably one of the most handsome men I have ever seen in my life!

Now for the good part.

Poor Geoffrey was so dumb, he couldn't have given a bag of rocks competition on Jeopardy.

We went to a French Bistro for dinner, he kept asking for Buffalo Wings. (I told him they didn't have buffalo wings because it's a French Bistro), He insisted that he wanted Buffalo Wings, and asked the waitress in his most proper English, "By the way, would you happen to have any Buffalo Wings today".. The waitress looked at me with her mouth gaped open (I was a regular at that restaurant) as if to say, where on EARTH did you find this moron.

I suffered through the date. Conversation was lousy.

He's the kind of date you'll always remember. If he only just kept his mouth shut and didn't speak, it would have been perfect!

I met a girl at a bar once and she gave me her number. I was pretty drunk (ok, I was sloshed) so I didn't remember making out with her at the bar or what she looked like. When I called her and made a date, I was a little worried about what she looked like when I would meet her. It wasn't a blind date, but it might as well have been!

my aunt hooked me up with this guy she works with. i clearly told her im not really looking for a guy right now, but she insisted. so we emailed each other, talked...blah...blah...blah... so one time i went to florida (where he lives, and where 1/2 of my family leaves) with no intention of seeing him, but my auntie insisted -- she kinda blackmailed me into it. she said she'll never ever speak to me again if i embarrass her or something. so i did meet him. she was my closest and favorite auntie, so i could never let here down. i wasn't anticipating for it at all though, because number 1, im not looking, number 2, i know from the beginning that he's not my type... so there was no "surprised" look on my behalf, i just thought it was a night to go out with a friend.

im not a snob, i still emailed or texted him afterwards -- although i didn't show any romantic gestures towards him, but i do would like to be friends with him.

I've been on a few. Most were disasters, the worst one I'm still not sure how that young lady got home.

I was once set up on two blind dates in one weekend; one on Friday night, one on Saturday night.

One stood me up, the other one I married.

Generally speaking they were one disaster after another, but the last one made up for the rest. ;)

I went on a blind date with a "good lawyer" and all I could do was stare at how crooked his teeth were. Did I kiss him goodnight? Nope.

Yes I have. It wasn't great. He criticized my parents' house, made disparaging comments about my dog, and insinuated that I should probably lose more weight. (We had each been discussing the fact that we had recently lost weight.) Needless to say, I didn't accept his invitation to a second date. (Guess I wasn't too fat.)

Yes and it was awful...he was a total jerk to the waitress and having worked in a restaurant myself that is just a big NO-NO.
