I've recently noticed the new conspiracy theory that Hezbollah bombed themselves in order to make Isreal look bad to the rest of the world. I'd like to know if there is any basis for this(links, facts?) or if they only believe this because republican political leaders are saying it.(so no quotes from Michelle Malkin) I call it a republican conspiracy theory because I've only seen republicans say this so far.

BTW- I'm fully aware that Hezbollah was sending missles from civilian areas in Qana and the civilians were warned to leave.. That is a separate issue.

Try that link. It is from the Jerusalem Post so it is skewed towards Israeli sympathy, but it does provide a starting point for exploring the contention of bloggers that Hezbollah staged the Kana incident.

Here's why:
Every source that has reported on the bombing in Lebanon has said the same thing, but people are missing it.
The building that collapsed, killing nearly sixty people, stood for seven hours after it was bombed before collapsing. What were those sixty people doing in the meantime? Sleeping?
Look at the pictures that people have shared. How many of those children have ANY concrete dust on them? How many of them have any signs of having been crushed, or any blood on them?
Also, if only an hour elapsed between the collapse of the building, and the breaking of the story, why were some of the victims already showing signs of rigor mortis? Some of them were showing signs of somewhat ADVANCED rigor mortis.
The first stages of rigor mortis begin once the deceased has been dead for at least 12-24 hours. Even in extremely hot temperatures, rigor mortis STILL would not set in for about six hours. Advanced rigor mortis begins after 24-36 hours.
It's highly suspect. Look at the pictures again.

I've heard theories of Hezbollah bringing other dead people over to recently bombed sites for the emergency crews to find. I've also heard of news people being paraded around dead bodies, timestamps not matching up on photos, etc.
