DON'T PANIC!!! Its not your fault, they've done it on purpose. Well that's what I'm telling people! I'm 22 and have been listening to radio 2 for a while now, not all the time but I get a bit shirty if I miss Jonathan Ross on a Saturday morning! argh! those words just left my fingers!
I think they play much better music these days, and the best part is you bypass the wanky radio1 dj's that sound like or are childrens presenters. I still love radio1, but they have to sort out their weekend dj's as they are so rubbish it makes me mad!
I heard somewhere that radio2 has captured a younger audience nationally so its not just you. I think its because more people are into band music now, and want to avoid the dance and pop that is served up on radio 1. Also if you go to student pubs or clubs quite often they play 'cheese' which is sometimes what it is as in things like The Maccaraina but is sometimes good old songs.
Good songs are still good, 10 years later if they were ever truly good songs.

Because you have realised that Radio 1 is CR@P!!! Radio 2 plays the music from your 'rea', plus the best modern hits. Wogan is brill in the morning, Ken bruce's show is excellent, espacially quizmaster. Steve Wright in the afternoon is claa (Radio 1 was never the same after he left), Chris Evans is hillarious. Radio 2 is the most listend to station in the UK - fact!

You've become a boring old fart and should be out buying motorbikes and trendy clothes like other blokes approaching the sensitive mid-life crisis stage. I was still skateboarding at 30!!! ( I have since matured and gone back to golfing and walking the dogs in my sensible walking shoes)
