Im not an abuser, but i have been in situation of being abused and managed to leave and survive the incident, i agree with the person from the first comment, you are very unlikely to find someone on here that will admit to acctually abusing anyone that they think they love.

You see abuse is a cycle its starts of with the build up - the abuser bottling their feelings away, so that they do not explode
then leads to the minor/major explosion - where they can and will use anything to hurt the person they see as having betrayed them.

it moves into the cycle of shame whereas the abuser will do anything to make the victim beleive that it will never happen again, and that they love them and so on......

which then goes back to build up.......

Alot of abuse victims refuse to talk to others about their situation because they have an ingrained sense that the abuse is still 'thier fault', when it never was in the first place........people need to remember that if you are beating another down with words, deeds and actions just to make yourself feel better, then you too are a abuser and that you need to seek mental health help immediately
And also that nobody deserves to be treated in such a way the you need to raise your hands or feet to them, its just not on.

I suppose you could call me one, the courts here where I live does, they are making me go to anger management classes cuz me and my husband got into a huge fight and they came out an arrested me cuz of the way his face looked, it's not right, I was just defending myself......
