Credit cards or loans, repaymentwise (considering that I'm a college freshman)

Credit cards generally have very high interest rates. Unless you plan on paying off the balance every month, try not to use them at all. As a student, you will likely be eligible for loans for living expenses on top of the loans for tuition -- I'd go with those.

I have gotten a second job to finance college for my daughter. She is not going to repay a loan and I don't want to. Through tuition management, we can pay monthly. She has a credit card but that is for emergencies only.

A loan will generate less interest than a credit card usually.
