Nicolette is from the North. She is snobby, rude, extremely rich, intolerant of peasants, with long chestnut hair, piercing green eyes, and ivory skin. Semele is from the South. She is kind, compassionate, optimistic, fair, with long ebony tresses, warm brown eyes, and olive skin. Esolde is from the East. She is quiet, intelligent, introverted, self-concious, beautiful, fragile, with platinum blonde curls, deep blue eyes, and pale skin. Willa is from the West. She is a free spirit, blunt, an orphan, tomboyish, sarcastic, lived a life of a sailor, with curly auburn hair, tan freckled skin, and hazel eyes.
These four girls are called by a mysterious object known only as the Compass Rose. They must fufill a prophecy and banish Kashmir, the evil dictator, from their world.
In it is a love story between Semele and a young sorcerer, Willa learns what became of her family, Esolde discovers self-confidence, and Nicolette finds meaning to her otherwise perfect life.

I am asking what readers think of my plot. And yes, I am in the process of writing it already. I just want to be sure I'm not going at it when its not worth the time of day.

You've pretty much got your plot right there. All you need to do now is tweak it, give it some more detail. Start adding ideas that you want to see happen in this book. Specifics.

Pretend that you're some random person who's come across these notes. You've never heard about this story or read anything about it. Read them over, and I stress this, YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE, and write down each question you want answered, like some of the following:

During the romance, do they automatically fall in love or are they disgusted with each other from the start, eventually falling for one another?

How does Willa discover the history of her family?

What exactly has Kashmir done that makes him evil?

Why are they called the Compass Rose?

What is the prophecy?

How do they go about finding out what it is?

How does their adventure start?

Start with that. Hope this helps!

You don't call this a plot? I'd like to read what you do with it!

The publisher I'm using, AuthorHouse, has a lot to offer with every aspect of the publishing process, even if your manuscript isn't finished. They'll work well with you.

Keep me posted how this story goes, and have a great day!

I do desire no longer. My father changed into 40 8 even as i changed into born and went around the domicile making a music the music corridor (vaudeville) songs of his teens, circa 1898-1930. i'm able to nonetheless bear in mind dozens of them. One, the "Galloping substantial" changed into featured in a BBC software celebrating (i will not bear in mind why) all the events of 1906. submit 1930, I bear in mind a pop music of 1935 because someone changed into taking area in it after I witnessed an undesirable street coincidence. After this there have been assorted cutting-edge thoughts of woman followers behaving outrageously even as Sinatra and Elvis and the Beatles first grew to develop into renowned, yet otherwise my existence has been an complete musical sparkling. I in easy words bear in mind the Spice ladies because one had a relative with the same call as a close chum of mine. Oh and the Rolling Stones and Andrew Lloyd Webber, and that is about it. I continuously say that the in easy words respectable music changed into written for women and gents to stay listening of their drawing rooms. once you opened music as a lot because the bourgeoisie in live performance halls, it only had to get louder to fill the corridor (why adverse Beethoven went deaf). actual music, unluckily, ended with Haydn and Mozart. yet question me about something exciting: the commercial gadget or international politics or maybe airplane layout, and that i stay tully up as a lot as now.

Without even a plot, you are not "currently writing" anything. You are just thinking of writing something. There is a big difference.

As for your question, why would you even consider writing a novel if you cannot even come up with your own plot?

If you are writing a book - then you write the plot. That is implied within the idea of "writing" a book.

What you have is characters and conflict-- the important stuff-- now you need a plot/story arc. (Events).

Sounds like you have a great start!
