What would you prefer?
1. Have the traditional wedding OR
2. Go to a tropical island and elope (immediate family and a couple of close friends in attendance), then send out a "surprise...we're married!!!" invitation to guests for a party afterwards?

Traditional wedding. You want everybody doting on you on your special day. You really do feel like a princess and IT IS ALL ABOUT YOU!!!

I would definitely rather elope! That is what I wanted to do but my husband wanted a wedding, so I decided that would be fine too, but I will always kind of wish we'd have gotten married on the beach on some tropical island.

I'm answering this question next month... We're having an informal "untraditional" wedding with just a few family and friends. And going on a 10-day Caribbean cruise for the honeymoon!
My feeling about "traditional" weddings is that they cost way too much, and are too stressful. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere, while having fun.

From personal experience I think it's better to elope and get married! It takes the pressure off of you and your soon to be spouse. And as a added bonus you get to celebrate twice!!

get yourself registered in front of your family members & go away . don't let others know about it. tell your family members to keep it a secret. then send others message ( sorry it will not be an invitation. )that u r married.it will be a surprise for others & money saving for u. have nice time.

We had the big traditional wedding... it was a blast!! But I would have also loved to do the island wedding!! It is all up to you!!

Traditional weddings are expensive and boring.
Do yourself a favor and chose #2 .
