Well If You Just Got it pierced I wouldn't take it out because they close up fast if you just got them pierced.Juse take a toothbrush without taking it out and brush what you can untl it's been about a month. After a month it will most likely be okay to take out without it closing up fast.If you didn't just get it,Take it out and take a tooth brush to it.If that doesn't work try some crest plaque fighting toothpaste. It works really well on teeth so it will most likely take away the plaque on your tongue ring.

If you don't like or know how to put it back in,try going to the place where you got it pierced or go to on of your friends or one of your family members and see if they can put it back in or take it out for you.Well I hope my advice has helped.

Take it out, soak it in denture cleaner and scrub gently with a toothbrush and repeat until clean. Be careful not to scratch the jewelry because bacteria will harvest in the scratches and cracks.

If it has plaque on it then that means that you don't clean it enough. I clean mine everyday with a toothbrush and listerine.

Battery operated tooth brush, and that thing is like your teeth. It holds germs. You should take it out and brush it at least once a day....How gross
