Make sure you are agressive; that is the most important thing. Never let the defender catch the ball. If he does, then hit him as hard as you can. A good way to catch the maximum number of balls without the corner getting them is to catch it at the highest point. That way the ball is in the air less time, giving the defender less of a chance. Also make sure you run crisp routes that fool the defender. Put in extra stutter steps to get him off balance. You don't have to worry about snap counts, because all you have to do is watch the line. After you catch the ball, be creative and go score!

So you know to diamond your hands - elbows out...
Tuck the ball inside...
drop a shoulder and turn upfield...
you know the 9 pass routes...
you know the three defensive levels...
you know where the seam is...
you know how many steps there are before the corner back is committed...
those are the basics...if you don't know that...start studying.
If you do know that...we can move forward....
cuz you don't need to be here...

Know your routes, know the snap count, know the blocking schemes on running plays, and most of all, know where the defender who has the greatest propensity to take your head off is at all times (he's usually the strong safety or the middle linebacker).

I guess you are about 7or8 years old. The most important thing you need to know is how to follow your coaches lessons. He will do his best to teach you the right way to be a receiver and will also show you other positions where you might make a bigger contribution to your team.

Running precised routes and get your timings down. Also, keep an eye out for that nasty looking dude on the opposite end. He might kill you.
